Human

Planet of origin: Earth

  • Strength - Technologically advanced.

  • Weakness - One of the weaker and slower of the races (made up for with tech).

  • Typical Moral Alignment - Humans often have the most varied of the moral alignments.

Elves

Planet of origin: Eden

  • Strength - Wise, good with bows. One with nature.

  • Weakness - Not good with technology. Weaker than most races but make up for it with their skill.

  • Typical Moral Alignment - Most elves generally come under the lawful or neutral good alignment with few outside of these. Dark elves may come at the other end of the spectrum.

  • History
  • The first elves to be created were formed by an unknown creator, along with many other elves formed after them. Their names were Wistari Syljor (♀), Ralnor Ravazana (♂), Tannyll Faehorn (♀) and Ehrendil Galeoth (♂). These elves represented passion, strength, arrogance, and loyalty. These elves, as they were the first four created, became leaders.

    Everything went smoothly, until after a decade, when mis formed elves, or “orcs”, started appearing. They would demolish everything that they saw, which meant killing things. This went on for a very long time, about 30 years. It was at that point when the four leaders (first elves) decided they had to stop this.

    So they left their elf town to fight the Orc’s leader. When they got there they decided to fight together to beat him, although they failed. Tannyll was too busy boasting about how much better she was than them, ralnor kept throwing things at the Orc, and kept missing because he couldn't handle the fact that he wasn't strong enough, and Ehrendil and wistari were the only ones actually hurting the Orc. In fact, these two elves had to get the others out, as they thought they were winning.

    After the battle, the elves decided to go their separate ways. Ralnor formed the dark elves, Tannyll formed the high elves, and Ehrendil and wistari stuck together and formed the wood elves. Then it was all the same with the elves living in harmony, the Orcs had discovered “pixies” to terrorise for a while, and all was well.

    Until one day, when all elves were told to come to the capital city of the elven land for a meeting about strange events happening, the whole city was pulled through a rift. Some chunks of other towns were pulled through as well, what was amazing was where they ended up. It was a completely different world!

Lychants

Planet of origin: Eden

  • Strength - In wolf form they are stronger than most races and faster than average.

  • Weakness - Changing forms takes a lot of energy, in early stages can't control wolf form.

  • Typical Moral Alignment - Normal form can be similar to the original race, wolf form may be more at the evil side.

  • “...a howl can be heard from over the hills, sacrificial screams in the name of rights. A man swearing vengeance upon the rulers, creating his tale by ripping the meat of their bones… spreading the disease like the venomous words of the liars, covering behind the country’s name… Lycanthra… Man… or wolf?”

    Wolfbloods, Lychants or Werewolves, often hide their true identity, some only come out at the shine of moonlight, whilst others can show at the thought of anger. A lychant can spread his “disease” by biting another humanoid and the disease is instant, on the first full moon the infected must feast, on the tenth year he has either been slaughtered or has transformed into a stronger bread, able to control the wolf residing inside them.

    When the beast is released the trauma and pain drives the person into another way of thinking... where murder is the best way to control their self anger. These beasts were most often found in the forests near Kanita although small clans were spread out all across the planet of Eden, though not much is known about the current amount left.

Vampires

Planet of origin: Eden

  • Strength - Can fly in batform. Fangs that can infect others. Can move quickly.

  • Weakness - Sunlight burns them. Can only survive off of blood.

  • Typical Moral Alignment - Most vampires are closer to the chaotic evil side. Very few are chaotic good/neutral good.

  • Extract from the story of Dracula, the first known humanoid vampire
  • “...the cold tearing his skin and nails… eyes frozen close to shut… he climbs, rises above his beloved home valley, above his castle and people… the grotto is dark and smells of rot and dread… the walls creep closer the further in he walks… a creature appears… “Why are you here… Vlad”... “I have come for my people, they are in a dire time of need… help me! An army of twenty thousand men o’ vise one…”

    The pain is so intense, his fingers are now white as the snow laying on the floor, eyes as bloody as the stains in the corners… The creature bites his neck… he wakes up overlooking his home, a guff of wind pushes him over the edge… the shadows shape wings, reaching out from his back, carrying him to safety onto his balcony.

    The hunger… the thirst… he flies again, rising with his back against the moon… The army, at rest on the opposite end of the valley… he growls… shouts… screams! a shriek so cold… so dreadful, that the soldiers awake at once, scared, frightened of the coming storm… the shriek tears all the sticks of the trees, leaving only logs with sharp tips standing, soldier after soldier gets put on the stakes, left bleeding out of their anus, with a stick through the entirety of the body… twenty thousand sticks of dread, three armies whom do not dare attack the dragons son… Dracula… Vlad Tepes… the impaler.”

Angels

Planet of origin: Eden

  • Strength - Can fly with their wings. Are smart and strong.

  • Weakness - Very holy/unholy, filled with regrets of their past actions.

  • Typical Moral Alignment - Angels can come at the top end of the moral alignment chart or bottom but never the middle.

  • The Stories of the Angels
  • During the beginning of life on Eden, Squall decided to create a special race of beings. These being were designed to look like the humans that had been created for Earth. One notable difference however, was the fact that these beings had large wings that allowed them to soar through the sky.

    These beings were created to be the watchers and protectors of Eden and the followers of Squall. For generations they watched over the many species from their islands in the sky, only interfering when they required to ensure the safety of the planet and making sure the creatures of the hellish realm did not cause havoc.

    There was peace on Eden for many millennia. This was so, until Squall vanished. With Squall gone the angels did not have their leader. With their leader gone the angels searched for someone who could help guide them until his return. This led the wisest and most skilled few to hunt for followers that would allow them to take his place.

    Of these angels, 2 in particular stood out. Vuliincia, the fastest and most cunning of the angels, and Celeste, the wisest, and Squall’s closest friend. Both of them grew to have many followers, but Celeste was ahead. Being so close to Squall and wise, meant that she was also widely trusted.

    Vuliincia did not like that she was falling behind and ordered her followers, mostly made up of the skilled warriors, to use the one thing Squall and the angels hated most against them. During a meeting that would decide the leader, Vuliincia created a rift between that led the demons and heretics of the hellish realm out.

    Vuliincia, and her followers, then proceeded to fight the demons back, hoping this would win over the rest of the angels. The demons however overwhelmed the hall killing many of the angels. Vuliincia and her followers retreated, realising they had made a huge mistake. As they retreated, Celeste stepped up and tricked the demons, reversing the rift. By doing this however, the whole island started to get ripped apart.

    Celeste, slowly getting weakened by the rift, stood her ground as everything and everyone around her got pulled through. Vuliincia, seeing that Celeste was weakened, charged, attempting to strike her down on the spot. Celeste managed to dodge the strike, but doing so meant the rift lost control and the whole of the angel’s race were all pulled through, minus a tiny few.

    Now in the hellish realm, both of the angels and their followers fought a battle for millennia. With time, Vuliincia and her followers evolved into a darker form of themselves, imbued with demonic power, their wings turned to pure bone. Celeste and her followers however, fought back the darkness and kept their pure look. This war went on for generations with the angels killing each other with no sign of stopping.

    After many millennia, the angel race was dwindling to less than 100 left standing. Celeste and her last few followers and Vuliincia and the last of her warriors. During one final battle that seemed like it would finally decide which wins a rift opened once more. From the rift, Squall appeared, and the angels all froze.

    Squall looked at what his once great followers had become with disappointment. He called the two to him, and forgave them, giving them a choice to come with him. Vuliincia, filled with the demonic energy turned away, ashamed at what she had become, went back to her followers.

    Celeste and her followers left with Squall to go rebuild Eden from the remains that had been left behind. Vuliincia and her followers now fight against the demons of the realm, ensuring they do not escape the world and cause more havoc on Eden.
